Santa Fe Plaza
Ever since the city's 1610 founding, the Santa Fe Plaza has served as the focal point for city life, offering shops and restaurants, bullfights and fandangos, and a gathering place for both locals and visitors. There are still many of the old buildings standing, which act as reminders of the city's rich history and you can still attend Spanish and Indian markets, just like in older times. The Plaza is recognized as a National Historic Landmark and is something that should be on every summertime itinerary.

Santa Fe Farmers Market
Only about a mile away from Santa Fe Plaza, the Farmers Market is open all year round to offer locally-grown produce, cheese, and flowers, as well as some home-recipe salsa like nothing you've ever tasted. During the summer, the Farmers Market is open every day, whereas, during other times of the year, it may only be open on certain days of the week.

Liquid Light Glass
Located in the Baca Street Arts District, this hand-blown glass company offers sculptures, ornaments, vases, and many other kinds of artistic glass products, some of which are created as you watch. If you're really feeling adventurous, you might even want to sign up for a class yourself, to learn the ancient art of glass-blowing.

Operation City Quest Scavenger Hunt
This is an activity that the whole family will love - a scavenger hunt in the downtown area, where you'll have to find about 150 items on a list provided by your guide. You can use your smartphone in the Quest, and your guide will provide a few helpful hints, but the real fun is in tracking down all the monuments, statues, shops, and other points of interest located strategically around the city.
