Great Dining Near the Bobcat Inn, NM

Third in our Series about our favorite restaurants: Harry's Roadhouse is probably the favorite of the Bobcat Inn guests. Their motto is A Square Meal Every Time. They have a very eclectic menu with turkey enchiladas being my favorite. I love their desserts and when the soft shell crab is in season it it the best. They have a great patio with lots of hollyhocks and delphiniums. The menu is very reasonable and they do have a liquor license. There parking lot is always full but you don't usually have to wait to long to get in. They do not take reservations unless you have a large party.

Good Food in Santa Fe, New Mexico

The second in our blog series on restaurants near our inn  is The Steaksmith Restauran t  also located right down the road on the Old Las Vegas Hwy at El Gancho Fitness Center. The Steaksmith was originally located in the St Francis Hotel downtown many years ago. When I was a little girl and lived in Texas we used to come to Santa Fe and eat at The Steaksmith and order the Alaskan King Crab. I have very fond memories. It is probably my most favorite comfort food restaurant in Santa Fe. It is always consistant and has very good steaks and seafood. They also have a creative bar menu that you won't get bored with. The service is outstanding. You don't have to pay extra for your salad and baked potato with your entree here. The petite fillet and the wild caught salmon are two of my favorite entrees. I also love the spinach cheese balls with hollandaise sauce and Jeannie shrimp. This is a great family restaurant when you want a nice dinner that is not pretentious. It is moderate...

Restaurants Near The Bobcat Inn Bed and Breakfast

We're going to write a series of blogs about the Restaurants Near the Bobcat. This is the first: The Bobcat Bite is located right next door to our inn. The Bite is known for their green chile cheeseburgers and home fries. It has been an institution since the 1950's. They were featured on Hamburgers America. In my opinion the green chile cheeseburger is really that good. I always split one with my daughter since they are huge. They will cook it how you like it and they grind their meat fresh daily. The owners Bonnie and John are also the nicest people you would ever meet. I have tried other things there but always come back to the burger.
